This handbook helps every team member understand:

- how decisions are documented
- where to find operational and product knowledge

- GitHub is the source of truth for durable documentation
- Linear is the execution layer for initiatives and tasks
- Eraser is the visual layer for architecture and workflow diagrams
- Documentation must be useful, concise, and maintainable
- Knowledge should be structured so both humans and AI can use it efficiently

Documentation rules¶
This handbook is intended to document:
- durable knowledge
- repeatable workflows
- shared decisions
- role expectations
- company-level understanding
This handbook is not intended to become a dumping ground for temporary notes.
Source of truth model¶
- GitHub stores the documentation source
- The published documentation site is the reading surface
- Linear tracks execution work
- Conversations in chat are not durable knowledge unless converted into documentation
